Genetically Modified Viruses Help Save A Patient With A ‘Superbug’ Infection: una adolescente británica recibió un trasplante de pulmón y durante su recuperación una infección crónica preexistente se extendió por su organismo. Resulta que esta bacteria era resistente a antibióticos, así que optaron por utilizar virus modificados genéticamente para atacar la infección. Aunque todavía no está totalmente recuperada, el tratamiento está funcionando (por ahora).
