VOX System is an approach to explore the synergies between Semantic Web technologies and Embodied Conversational Agents (ECAs). In particular, it allows to perform semantic keyword-based search on the DBPedia, communicating itself with the user via a multimodal interface.
Due to legal issues with the LOQUENDO license we have used in the prototype, we cannot provide access to our system’s deployment. However, a demo of its functioning can be found in the following videos: video#1 and video#2.
The details of the system (the architecture and the semantic keyword search process) have been published in:

Serón and Carlos Bobed, “VOX System: A Semantic Embodied Conversational Agent exploiting Linked Data“, Multimedia Tools and Applications, ISSN 1380-7501 (print version), ISSN 1573-7721 (electronic version), Springer, volume 75, number 1, pp. 381-404, January 2016. Moreover, we have developed a simple demonstrator of the semantic keyword search which it is based on. It can be found in the following link (please, contact me if it is down).
