I'm an associate profesor at the University of Zaragoza. I'm also a member of the robotics group at Instituto de Investigación en Ingeniería de Aragón (I3A) in Zaragoza. My research interests span machine learning, robotics, computer vision, assistive technologies and Bayesian optimization.
Previously, I was an advisor at SigOpt (acquired by Intel in 2020), a senior lecturer at the Centro Universitario de la Defensa (CUD) at Zaragoza, a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Systems and Robotics at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon and a visiting scholar at the Laboratory of Computational Intelligence, at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
