Background

Me and the Great Wall

In September 2006, I started a BS/MS in Computer Science Engineer at the University of Zaragoza and I received my degree in September 2011.

Next, I started a Master in Systems Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Zaragoza. In June 2012, I succesfully defended my Masther Thesis. In June 2016, I obtained my PhD degree in Systems Engineering and Computer Science by the University of Zaragoza. During my PhD, I spent six months as a visiting researcher in the Architecture of Information Systems group (AIS) of the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e).

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Distributed Computing (DisCo) group (former Distributed and Heterogeneous Systems Integration Group) of the University of Zaragoza.

Research

During my PhD, my research interests included grid computing, grid systems simulation and analysis, cloud computing, heterogeneous computing infrastructures interoperability and scientific workflows.

Currently, I focus on definying techniques for the analysis of large collections of data in the context of data and process mining.
