Seminar: On control of timed distributed continuous Petri nets
Title: On control of timed distributed continuous Petri nets.
Speaker: Hanife Apaydin, GISED (Visiting Researcher).
Abstract: A timed distributed continuous Petri net system (DcontPN) is composed of several subsystems which communicate through channels modelled by places. A reachability control problem for DcontPNs composed of two subsystems is considered first. An algorithm is developed to calculate the control inputs. The application of the obtained control inputs drives the subsystems from the initial states to the target states. Subsystems reach their target marking simultaneously, after a finite amount of time, but not necessary all of them at the same time. The procedure is than extended considering more general structures with more than two subsystems. The procedure is than applied to a manufacturing system.
