Welcome to my little home on the net. I am a Computer Engineer and a doctoral student and researcher at the University of Zaragoza under Professors Elvira Mayordomo and José Manuel Colom, my thesis advisors and research directors.

My research revolves around bioinformatics, particularly computational phylogenetics (and slowly but steadily expanding my horizons to all sorts of interesting problems). I am interested in the development and application of formal methods to solve challenging and meaningful problems in biology and elsewhere, and also in the theoretical study of rigorously defined models and formulations. On the practical side I am involved in the design of feasible and efficient technical solutions to computationally demanding problems, as well.

I am always open to questions, comments, and proposals. Please do not hesitate to contact me using the information below.
