DT4SW: Data-Throttling for Scientific Workflows
DT4SW is a tool implemented in C code and integrated with SimGrid toolkit. For a given workflow (described as DAX), it computes the data-throttling rates needed to optimize bandwidth and input buffers at tasks with multiple inputs. Besides, it continuously monitors the execution and reacts when unexpected conditions occur, adapting the data-throttling rates to current situation.
