This page shows information about research in Semantic Web
The SWAD-Europe project aims to support W3C's Semantic Web initiative in Europe, providing targeted research, demonstrations and outreach to ensure Semantic Web technologies move into the mainstream of networked computing.
KTweb brings together the European projects and people working in information access and knowledge technologies - in research, academia and business - and offers information and resources in these domains at a global level.
OWL Web Ontology Language: The OWL Web Ontology Language is designed for use by applications that need to process the content of information instead of just presenting information to humans. OWL facilitates greater machine readability of Web content than that supported by XML, RDF, and RDF Schema by providing additional vocabulary along with a formal semantics. OWL has three increasingly-expressive sublanguages: OWL Lite, OWL DL, and OWL Full.
