I am currently a post-doctoral researcher, working with Dr. Ander Ramos-Murguialday and Prof. Niels Birbaumer, at the Institute of Medical Psychology and Behavioral Neurobiology, at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. My research combines neurosciences and neural engineering to understand and restore the neural mechanisms underlying motor recovery in patients suffering motor diseases, such as stroke and spinal cord injury.Previously, I performed my PhD thesis in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Zaragoza, under the supervision of Doctors Javier Minguez and Luis Montesano. The main objective of my PhD was to develop brain-machine interfaces (BMI) for motor rehabilitation and restoration of patients with spinal cord injury.Contact
