Abstract: In this work the problem of fault diagnosis of time Petri nets is studied. The procedure is based on the state class graph that is adapted and will be called fault diagnosis graph (FDG). In order to reduce the complexity of computing the full FDG from the beginning we propose some algorithms to compute after each observation only the part required to update the diagnosis states. The number of states of the state class graph is reduced in the FDG being necessary an algorithm to compute the time intervals for transition sequences.
