Seminar - Stabilization of variable speed continuous Petri nets using state feedback

Mon, 06/10/2008 (All day)
Abstract: In this work, the main purpose is to develop a simple method to guarantee asymptotic stability of Variable Speed Continuous Petri nets (VCPN). The state space representation of Variable Speed Continuous Petri nets (VCPN) is same as that of continuous time Piecewise Linear Systems (PWL). By this motivation, firstly stability of PWL is investigated. A method is proposed to stabilize VCPN by means of state feedback which is a well-known stabilization method of classical control theory. According to the developed method, firing rate of some transitions and/or weights of some arcs are modified to stabilize the original VCPN.
